Learn how to transform your fresh local veggies from the Brazos Valley Farmers’ Market into a spectacular meal your whole family will love! Chef Rachel from the Village Cafe will be demonstrating food preparation techniques from 9:30 to 11:30. In addition to the demonstration, Pam Walker, author of Growing Good Things to Eat in Texaswill be on site to sign books from 10AM-12PM, getting you even closer to all your local food favorites. The event will continue at the Village Cafe with a Locavore lunch and talk by Pam Walker.
