The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) has recently changed many aspects of its organic certification program. During a webinar on July 23 (12 - 1 PM CDT), the coordinator for this program, Mary Ellen Holliman, will discuss the new regulations and the new fee structure. She also will comment on topics of interest such as length of time it takes to get inspected by TDA and whether it will be possible to completely fill out TDA’s application forms online. The hour-long webinar, “Organic Certification through the Texas Department of Agriculture is free and will begin at noon,CDT. It is being presented by the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT) and the TDA.
