TOFGA members are at the forefront of organic agriculture and are worth celebrating!  The TOFGA banquet is a time to share ideas and connect.  Relax with old friends and new over a delicious, locally-sourced dinner that will highlight what our great state has to offer.

We're delighted to welcome Michael Ableman as our keynote speaker!

Michael Ableman is one of the early visionaries of the organic farming and urban agriculture movements and a renowned speaker, photographer, and author. He offers a unique and authentic perspective, grounded in a forty-year career working on the land and growing food. His warm and engaging presentations blend storytelling with powerful imagery that encourage audiences toward positive action! Michael is co-founder and director of Sole Food Street Farms, one of North America’s largest urban agriculture enterprises established to provide employment to individuals in Vancouver, British Columbia who are managing poverty and addiction. Previously, he created high-profile urban farms in California, both in Watts and Goleta, and he is the subject of the award-winning PBS film “Beyond Organic” narrated by Meryl Streep. He is founder of the non-profit Center For Urban Agriculture, and involved in Cultivate Canada, the Center For Arts, Ecology, and Agriculture, and co-founder of the Agrarian Elders. Michael currently lives and farms with his family at the historic 120-acre Foxglove Farm in British Columbia.

Farm and Food Trivia Night!

Friday, February 2, 9:00 p.m., Banquet Hall

Join us right after the banquet for an evening of stimulating questions and good company among fellow farm and food folk. This is team trivia with up to 6 trivia warriors per table. All conference attendees are welcome at no extra charge. Cash bar with refreshments available for purchase. The winning team receives a special prize!
