Welcome to the TOFGA Region 2 website. Region 2 consists of Bastrop, Bexar, Bandera, Blanco, Caldwell, Comal, DeWitt, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Lavaca, Medina, Travis, Williamson and Wilson counties.

Final: TOFGA Region 2 Strategic Plan

The changes reflect member feedback from emails, talks, phone calls and the Spring Region 2 Member Meeting. Member request for TOFGA recruiting material and advertising was presented to the board and materials, official language and such is being discussed by the board. I will update all regional members as these items develop. Please email me at region2@tofga.org with comments and question.

Region 2 Membership Meeting

Mark you calendars for May 9th, 2010 for our next Region 2 Membership Meeting. This is a tentative date. The location will be at Whole Foods on Lamar, Austin. Carpool from San Marcos is going to be available. Our fall membership meeting is tentatively set for September 5th, 2010.

About Jennifer

Jennifer Buratti, TOFGA Region 2 Directo

Jennifer owns and operates Bohemian Bounty, an organic gardening business serving the Austin area. Jennifer spent several seasons as National Park Service Ranger in Texas and Colorado. The Lower Colorado River Authority and her love of birding lured Jen back to Texas and she served as the education coordinator at the Matagorda Bay Nature Park. Coming back to Central Texas Jennifer worked for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality focusing on projects to restore water quality in the state before starting Bohemian Bounty. Bohemian Bounty is dedicated to helping central Texas residents grow their own healthy, organic, and low cost food.
