FSA County Committee Nominations
Due August 3
Nominations are now being accepted for farmers and ranchers to serve on local USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) county committees.These committees make important decisions about how federal farm programs are administered locally. All nomination forms for the 2026 election must be postmarked or received in the local FSA office by Aug. 3, 2026.

The Central Texas Farm Incubator Collaborative provides beginning farmers with access to land, infrastructure, mentorship, business training and marketing outlets to bridge barriers to starting and sustaining a farm. Applications for the 2027 season are due on 9/15!

New World Screwworm Updates for TX Organic Producers
New World Screwworm is back and quickly spreading across southwest Texas and southeast New Mexico. A major threat to all livestock operations, it also brings extra challenges for organic livestock producers who are extremely limited by OMRI approved treatment options.
